CIS Scholarship Programs
We have developed an extensive scholarship program to assist students in funding their experiences. Nearly 30% of all students who study abroad with CIS receive a scholarship. Listed below are three types of scholarships sponsored by CIS and offered to deserving students:
  • CIS Go Global Scholarship
  • CIS Overseas Partner University Scholarship
  • CIS US University Affiliate Scholarships
Application Procedure
In order to be considered for either the Go Global or the Overseas Partner University Scholarship you must already be accepted to a CIS Program. Candidates who meet the academic requirements will have their applications forwarded to the scholarship committee who will judge their application based on academic merit and a written essay.
  1. Complete a CIS Scholarship Application Form.
  2. Scholarship Application

  3. Submit, with the Application Form, an essay that explains what it means to you to be a global citizen and how your CIS study abroad program might help you attain this status. The essay should be typed, double-spaced and between 500-1000 words (2-3 pages).
For programs starting in: Scholarship deadline is:
Fall Semester May 1
Spring Semester November 1
