The University of Limerick operates on a semester calendar which matches the US academic calendar. You will register for 5 modules (courses) per semester, with each module worth 3 credits for a total of 15 UL credits. You will be able to study courses from across the six colleges at the University of Limerick which include: Business, Education, Humanities, Engineering, Informatics and Electronics and Science.
Rugby Study Abroad Option - Fall Semester Only
The Rugby Study Abroad program provides student-athletes the opportunity combine an academic study abroad experience with their athletic passion – rugby. Rugby players of all skill levels are encouraged to participate in this program, as the University of Limerick (UL) Bohemian Rugby Club offers different levels of competition and skill level. Students participating in the UL Rugby Study Abroad Program receive all items in the CIS Limerick Program Package (see right panel) as well as: full membership of UL Bohemians RFC and associated privileges; a selection of UL Bohemians playing and leisure gear; professional assessment of ability in rugby and attachment to appropriate UL team; tickets for two representative matches featuring Munster Rugby Club and a ticket for one Ireland international match.
